This has been a stomping ground for me for years. From Kearsarge to Bishop and Mammoth is amazing. I likethe high Sierra Trail but the Palisades areas and Dusy basin as well as Rae Lakes is enchanting for me and especially in the snow.
It was a really beautiful area. Be nice to see it clear of snow for the contrast but spectacular scenery the whole way from Kearsarge to Mammoth
