Day 88 to 90 – 18 to 20 Jun 19. Zero at South Lake Tahoe

I had a wonderful rest in South Lake Tahoe. I was hosted by Daniel a.k.a. Snowshoe John and Georgina a.k.a. Pika. They spoilt me with excellent conversation and food in their lovely house.

Daniel was nice enough to drive me to the UPS office and post office for me to pick up my parcels. I got new shoes, innersoles and some extra DCF repair tape to try and keep my tent going until I can get another one.

I also received a package from Ivars and Ivana. They had contacted me through YouTube as they had been watching my videos and wanted to send me a package with some healthy snacks. It contained some freeze dry meals, energy bars, golden berries and some cookies. I was looking forward to trying them. Everything was vegan and organic so I was interested to see if the taste was ok.

I was busy trying to edit all the videos as the last section was a long one.

I also got a haircut. I had decided that once I was clear of the sierras I would be able to get a summer haircut and it was a nice short one.
